Behind the Brand

Founded in 1982, EFL quickly grew to become one of the largest and most reliable freight forwarding and logistics companies in the region. What started as a 5-man team in a 300, sq. ft. office has emerged to become a global brand that has endured all the challenges of operating in limited transportation infrastructure markets. The ability to deliver flexible and customized solutions consistently over the years has been one of the key points that has led to the growth and expansion of the brand. Widely known as ‘Expo’, the company underwent a rebranding exercise in 2012 and established itself as EFL introducing a new visual identity and tagline.

EFL is a member of Expolanka PLC based in Sri Lanka, and now part of the larger SG Holdings Group, a leading logistics group in Japan. SG Holdings includes 24 locally-incorporated subsidiaries in 14 countries outside Japan including China, Vietnam and Singapore. For more details, please visit www.sgh-global.com
